PCA SKIN pHaze 33 Acne Cream 0.5 oz |

| This cream is pretty good for treating non-cystic acne, clearing up pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. It has a pretty good concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide (5.0% versus 2-2.5% in other acne treatment) that makes it pretty effective for minor acne breakouts. The cream texture is very soothing and is very gentle to the skin, it doesn't irritate skin or cause too much peeling and redness. One drawback of this cream is that it's pretty pricey and for $14, you get only a tiny container. It can be used up very quickly if you have many break-out spots on your face. For people who have acne that are cystic and bumpy deep undeneath the skin, this cream doesn't help even though it works wonder on superficial pimples, blackheads or white heads. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Clearskin Dual Action Anti-Bacterial Cleanser 5 oz | Rating: |

This is a face wash that is formulated with an anti-bacterial gel and microbeads to help knock out bacteria, plus flush out pore-clogging dirt, oil and debris. It has a 0.3% Triclosan to treat acne prone skin. Since salicylic acid seems to lose its effectiveness after a prolonged period of application, this facial wash can give the face a change of treatment forumla to boost the otherwise stagnant result with the same treatment. Compared with a lot of acne facial cleansers, this cleanser is not irritative for normal to oily skin. The price is exceptionally affordable. While this wash may not be strong enough for people with severe acne problem, this is a pretty good wash for most of the people who have occasional break-out and blemish and who want to take preventive measures against blemishes and breakout. |
